Out of the night that covers me,
Black as the pit from pole to pole,
I thank whatever gods may be
For my unconquerable soul.
In the fell clutch of circumstance
I have not winced nor cried aloud.
Under the bludgeonings of chance
My head is bloody, but unbowed.
Beyond this place of wrath and tears
Looms but the Horror of the shade,
And yet the menace of the years
Finds and shall find me unafraid.
It matters not how strait the gate,
How charged with punishments the scroll,
I am the master of my fate:
I am the captain of my soul.
William Ernest Henley
I keep going away from my blog from long periods of time.. and sometimes I write and save the post as a draft. I was an early blogger compared to my friends and acquaintances. I have been blogging since 2004 but then I go off on these long sabbatical and everyone else moves on. Every post I write has a disclaimer, about me not returning back. This time I am going to try to come back.. even if it is for a one line post.
I graduated with my MBA last month. 🙂 yes I might talk about that experience here but right now.. I am LOOKING for a job and that’s what Invictus is about! 😀 Its my all time favorite poem and I thought I needed to read it right now 😛
I am going to talk about my job hunt here and hopefully I can keep myself on track with that. 🙂
